Bray Wyatt’s Absence From WWE Clarified Following Release

Wyatt was released on July 31

Bray Wyatt’s release from WWE on July 31 was a shocking affair to fans, and led to all sorts of ‘rumour and innuendo’ as to why the former WWE Champion was let go.

Now, per a report from Fightful, sources close to Wyatt confirmed that his absence following WrestleMania 37 Night Two ‘had nothing to do with what were called "falsely reported mental health issues." Also, Bray Wyatt is 100 percent healthy and able to wrestle’.

Fightful’s report also stated that Wyatt was busy and heavily involved in adding new creative elements to his character, ready for a rumoured return on last night’s edition of WWE Raw. Wyatt was allegedly cleared to wrestle by WWE staff at some point before his release.

There was concern from fans about Wyatt’s mental health due to to emotional social media posts he had made in early 2020, with Wyatt’s extended absences from WWE for the majority of 2021 only increasing speculation as to the state of his emotional wellbeing.
