Bret Hart Opening A Bar In Calgary

Bret Hart, Calgary publican

Not content with being one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Bret Hart is now turning his hand to the service industry, with ‘The Hitman’ opening a bar in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Taking to Twitter, Bret revealed that Hitman’s Bar will open to the public next month:

“Join me this February as @hitmansbar in Calgary AB, Canada finally opens! A place to gather, enjoy a great meal, live, laugh, and celebrate. Please follow the restaurant & bar at: @hitmansbar. Grand opening details: coming soon!!!”

This isn’t Bret’s first venture outside of wrestling, with Bret being a founding owner of the Calgary Hitmen ice hockey team when the team was formed in 1994.

It remains to be seen if this bar will be the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be, but what’s for sure is don’t be expecting to see Bill Goldberg propping up the bar, and don’t even think about ordering a Montreal Screwjob with Coke.
