Brian Myers Re-Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

Brian Myers will be with IMPACT for at least another year

Brian Myers has extended his deal with IMPACT Wrestling through 2023, the promotion have announced.

"This was an easy decision for me. It's a place where my talent is going to get the most opportunity. That's what is important to me. I think what we do in the ring is so precious. Father Time is eventually going to get us all, but I don't want to stop doing what I'm doing until I have to. This is very important to me," Myers told Sports Illustrated after re-signing with IMPACT.

Myers is currently in his second run with IMPACT Wrestling, having returned to the promotion in July 2020 following his WWE release. He has twice unsuccessfully challenged for the IMPACT World Championship since his return, losing to Eddie Edwards in 2020 and Christian Cage in 2021. He is a former Digital Media Champion and Myers held the TNA World Tag Team Titles during his first run with the promotion in 2015.

The Most Professional Wrestler will look to regain the tag titles at Hard To Kill alongside Major Players tag team partner Matt Cardona. They will challenge The Motor City Machine Guns for the gold in a Four Way Elimination Match that also features Heath & Rhino, and Ace Austin & Chris Bey.

In addition to his role as in-ring talent, Myers is a consultant behind the scenes on IMPACT Wrestling's merchandise.
