Brie Bella Claims She Hasn't Been Contacted About WWE Return

Brie Bella claims she hasn't been contacted about making a return to WWE, despite reports suggesting she could be in line to perform at the upcoming Evolution premium live event.

Addressing the speculation while on the red carpet for the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, Brie told Courtney Tezano of 15 News:

"I would love to return, but I'm kind of waiting for that call still. Nikki got the call, Brie didn't. I didn't change my number, if you guys wanted to know, it's still the same".

According to reports, the creative for Brie's return would see her either be in her twin sister's corner for Nikki's match with Liv Morgan, or team up with Nikki to take on Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. However, Morgan sustained a shoulder injury on last week's edition of Raw, which will require surgery and a potential six-month layoff, resulting in WWE ripping up their plans for Evolution.

Despite Morgan's injury, WWE do not plan on vacating the tag titles, with another person expected to step in for Liv (presumably Roxanne Perez). This could, in theory, lead to a tag match between the Bella Twins and Rodriguez & Perez at Evolution.
