Brock Lesnar's gloves and boots in the ring at WWE WrestleMania 42 as Lesnar and Paul Heyman walk up the ramp in the distance

Brock Lesnar's professional wrestling career looks to be over as the former WWE Champion left his MMA gloves and boots in the ring following the opening contest of WrestleMania 42 Sunday.

Lesnar faced Oba Femi at WrestleMania and lost to the former NXT Champion in decisive fashion, with Oba quickly bouncing back up following an F5 before he delivered a chokeslam and fall from grace to Lesnar for the pinfall victory.

Lesnar remained lying down in the ring until after Oba Femi had gone backstage, at which point he sat up and removed his gloves and boots and left them in the centre of the ring. Lesnar then waved to the fans inside Allegiant Stadium as they chanted "Thank you Brock" before he embraced Paul Heyman. As they held back tears, Lesnar and Heyman then made their way back up the ramp as the fans applauded.

It certainly looked like the end of Brock Lesnar's career and if it was, it ends his in-ring career after 26 years. Lesnar is a 10-time world champion in WWE, and also a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
