Brock Lesnar Vs. Bobby Lashley Set For WWE Royal Rumble 2022

A huge WWE Title match!

One of the most highly anticipated matches in WWE will finally happen at the Royal Rumble as Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley meet in a WWE Championship bout.

Lashley was confirmed as the first challenger to new WWE Champion Lesnar on this week's episode of Raw, defeating former Champion Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in a Fatal 4 Way Match to secure the bout with The Beast at the Royal Rumble on Saturday 29 January.

A dominant performance by The All Mighty, Lashley would take out both Big E and Rollins with Spears before pinning Kevin Owens to claim victory.

All four participants competed in the WWE Day 1 main event along with Brock Lesnar on Saturday 1 January, with Lesnar added to the match at the last minute due to Universal Champion Roman Reigns testing positive for COVID-19.

Lesnar would claim victory, at the WWE Title, by pinning Big E, but Lashley was the only participant that Lesnar did not hit an F-5 on. Lashley would even put Lesnar in the Hurt Lock in the closing sequence of the bout.

After teasing a future showdown between the two at Day 1, WWE fans will finally see one of the big matches they have been clamouring for in four weeks at the Royal Rumble when the two heavyweights meet.
