WWE Confirm Five More Participants In The 2022 Men's Royal Rumble Match
Who is joining Johnny Knoxville in the match?
Five more participants for the Men's Royal Rumble Match at the WWE pay-per-view of the same name were confirmed on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.
The January 3 Raw saw Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford declare themselves as participating in this year's Royal Rumble match. Their announcement was quickly followed by the same declaration by Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik.
Later in the night Vince McMahon would inform Austin Theory that, as a reward for his attack on Finn Balor a couple of weeks ago, he would also be a participant in the Men's Royal Rumble Match this year.
The five Raw superstars have been added to the field after Jackass star Johnny Knoxville confirmed himself as the first entry in the bout on social media over the weekend. Knoxville's announcement was shared and confirmed by WWE at the Day 1 event on Saturday evening.
The Royal Rumble is taking place at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis on Saturday, January 29. The promotion is yet to announce any of the participants for the Women's Royal Rumble match.
