Brock Lesnar Vs. Cain Velasquez, Braun Strowman Vs. Tyson Fury Official For WWE Crown Jewel

Just 20 days away...

WWE held a press conference Friday afternoon at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the site of Friday's Draft edition of SmackDown, to announce two unique matches for Crown Jewel.

Two matches were announced before the assembled media in Vegas: WWE champion Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez, and Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury.

Lesnar vs. Velasquez was facilitated by Velasquez, flanked by the injured Rey Mysterio, assaulting Lesnar on last Friday night's episode of SmackDown. The two notably faced off in UFC in October 2010, where Velasquez defeated Lesnar to win the org's Heavyweight title via first-round TKO.

Strowman vs. gargantuan heavyweight boxer Fury set itself up after the two had a heated row on that same episode of SmackDown, which carried over into a pull apart brawl on Monday's Raw.

The two matches will occupy a card that also includes a ten man tag. Hulk Hogan coaches one team that so far includes Universal champion Seth Rollins and Rusev, against a quintet led by Ric Flair, that currently has Randy Orton and King Corbin on it.

WWE Crown Jewel takes place Thursday, October 31, from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
