Brock Lesnar is once again listed in WWE’s alumni section after his SummerSlam loss to Oba Femi.
Lesnar seemingly retired after his first loss to Oba at WrestleMania XLII, only to come out of retirement to continue the feud with the former NXT Champion. Ahead of SummerSlam, many wondered if Lesnar would bow out of the WWE post-event, and it seems he has…for now at least.
The official WWE roster page has moved Lesnar to the alumni section after having temporarily placed him on the active roster post-Mania retirement. After his loss to Oba at SummerSlam, Lesnar took the mic to declare Oba Femi as the future, whilst referring to himself as ‘the past’.
As ever with Brock and indeed pro-wrestling as a whole, whether he stays retired is anyone’s guess, with Triple H giving a non-committal answer when discussing Brock’s future during the post-SummerSlam wrap-up show.
Despite ‘The Beast’ leaving his gloves and boots in the ring at Mania 42, many at the time did not believe the multi-time World Champion was actually retired, with the belief seemingly being that ‘Brock does what he wants’.
