Brodie Lee To Be Honoured With AEW Dynamite Tag Matches

All Elite Wrestling plan to honour Brodie Lee on the special 'Homecoming' edition of AEW Dynamite at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The show will air from the amphitheatre that was AEW's home during the COVID-19 pandemic on January 10. 

Tony Khan has announced ahead of the show that two eight-person tag team matches on Dynamite will recognise Brodie Lee, featuring two of his proteges in Preston Vance and Anna Jay. 

Anna Jay will team with Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Thunder Rosa to take on Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Saraya, and Ruby Soho in one match, while Preston Vance will be alongside Adam Copeland, Orange Cassidy, and Dustin Rhodes to face Lance Archer, Brian Cage, and The Gates of Agony in the other match.  

Both Jay and Vance were a part of Dark Order while Brodie Lee led the stable. Lee tragically passed away on December 26, 2020 at 41-years-old. 

Other matches announced for AEW Dynamite include Hangman Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Ricky Starks vs. Sammy Guevara, and a Texas Tornado Tag of Sting & Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs. Samoa Joe will also appear on the show.
