AEW Name Promoted To Vice President Position

A name within All Elite Wrestling has received a promotion.

Shane Emerson was recently promoted to Vice President of Global Programming and Partnerships within All Elite Wrestling. He previously held the role of Head of Global Programming and Partnerships. 

"I'm happy to share that I'm starting a new position as Vice President Global Programming & Partnerships at All Elite Wrestling!" Emerson wrote on his LinkedIn page.

Emerson has been a part of AEW since September 2021. He previously worked for Anthem Sports & Entertainment (the parent company of TNA Wrestling) as the Director of Global Content Strategy and Partnership. 

Along with their deal with Warner Bros. Discovery in the United States, AEW have a number of international content partners, including ESPN and DAZN. The promotion has a broadcast deal with ITV in the United Kingdom that sees AEW Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision air on ITV4. 

Emerson's promotion comes after a number of backstage changes within All Elite Wrestling. Kevin Sullivan, the Vice President of Post Production, was fired by Mike Mansury in December while Vice President of Live Events/Touring Rafael Morffi and another executive in Dana Massie left the promotion at the end of 2023.
