Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin Win WWE NXT Tag Team Titles

WWE NXT has new tag team champions.

The February 14 edition of NXT featured Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo defending the NXT Tag Team Titles against Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin of the Wolf Dogs. The challengers earned their title shot by winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic at NXT Vengeance Day. 

The finish saw Corbin take out Stacks with the End of Days, only for the former Mr Money in the Bank to be levelled by Tony D'Angelo. This still left Stacks vulnerable, though, and he was flattened by a Spear from Bron Breakker before the former NXT Champion made the cover for the win. 

The loss ended D'Angelo and Stacks' second reign as NXT Tag Team Champions after 92 days. Tuesday night also marked the first time Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin have held tag team gold in their WWE careers. 

The title change comes at a time when Bron Breakker looks destined for the main roster, having reportedly already received his call-up following an impressive performance in the Royal Rumble. Raw and SmackDown general managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are currently bidding for Breakker's services on WWE TV and Scott Steiner's nephew is said to be scheduled for a big push.
