Bronson Reed will be out for a few months following an injury suffered during the men’s War Games match at WWE Survivor Series 2024. This injury occurred following Reed’s Tsunami splash from atop the War Games cage, before crashing through a table. It was believed that he had potentially one or both of his ankles, and WWE confirmed that he had in fact broke his foot on the December 6 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Mike Johnson of PWInsider had some further news on Reed’s status.

It was reported that there has been talk amongst talent that Reed will undergo surgery for his foot injury sometime next week, which was again confirmed by WWE on SmackDown. He has been removed from all upcoming dates, previously being scheduled to do battle with current rival Seth Rollins during WWE’s holiday tour in Steel Cage matches.

WWE were forced to change plans in the aftermath of Survivor Series, with Drew McIntyre’s Monday Night RAW return coming earlier than initially planned, with him stepping in during Reed’s absence. It isn’t known when exactly Reed will be back in the fold, but it could be a few months before he returns. Reed took to social media to react to his injury during the last week, noting that "Injuries are temporary. Moments last forever.”
