Bryan Danielson Comments On Vince McMahon WWE Departure

Bryan Danielson seemingly has unconditional love for Vince McMahon.

Speaking about the 76-year-old's retirement as WWE CEO and Chairman with Wrestling Inc, Danielson acknowledged that McMahon had mistakes but "you love them regardless." 

"So, one, first thing I should say is no comment. Second thing I should say about stuff and just Vince, in general, is maybe it's more about love. If you love somebody, is that people make mistakes and you love them regardless," Danielson said. 

The American Dragon and McMahon were close during Danielson's time in WWE and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion saw the 76-year-old as a mentor to the point that he has a notebook of things he has learned from McMahon.

Vince McMahon stepped away from WWE on Friday, July 22, amidst a WWE Board investigation over hush payments the former CEO and Chairman made between 2006 and 2022 to suppress allegations of infidelity and sexual misconduct. McMahon's exit was hastened due to the SEC and federal prosecutors beginning investigations into the payments.
