Bryan Danielson Has No Interest In Helping With AEW Creative
Sticking to wrestling
Sep 7, 2021
Bryan Danielson has revealed he has no interest in helping out with creative in All Elite Wrestling.
Danielson made his AEW debut at All Out on Sunday and The American Dragon noted that he plans on kicking young talent's "fucking head in." Beyond that, Danielson plans to stick to wrestling and leave "the business stuff" to AEW President Tony Khan.
Speaking at the post-All Out media scrum, Danielson said: "So I briefly took part in creative in WWE. And I will say this; I like just wrestling. I'll leave the business stuff and all that stuff up to Tony."
As Danielson noted, he worked for WWE Creative in 2020, helping write Friday Night SmackDown. The former WWE Champion reportedly had "significant creative influence" and he was behind the brief pushes of Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Chad Gable and Drew Gulak. Bryan also came up with the idea for Big E's singles run following Kofi Kingston's injury and E has since become Mr. Money In The Bank.
