More Details Regarding Ruby Soho's AEW Move Reportedly Emerge

Soho debuted at AEW All Out 2021

Ruby Soho made her surprise debut for All Elite Wrestling on Sunday, winning the Women's Casino Battle Royale at All Out 2021.

The former Ruby Riott, in securing victory, has earned an AEW Women's Title match against Britt Baker, and Fightful Select now have more details as to how Soho's signing and debut for AEW came about.

According to the report, there was immediate interest in booking Soho by multiple promotions following her release from WWE in early June, but these individuals were informed that she was not looking to take any bookings. It was then assumed by these bookers that Soho had agreed a deal to join AEW, who had also expressed interest in bringing her in.

It is also reported that a number of people within All Elite Wrestling pushed for the promotion to sign Soho once she became available. Soho's kind nature backstage in WWE has been spoken about widely since her departure from the company, and many people still in WWE are said to be 'over the moon' for her now she has secured a new home in AEW.
