Jimmy Jacobs has explained how Bryan Danielson landed him his current role as an AEW producer. Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Jacobs explained:
"As for how I got here, Bryan Danielson called me, he said, 'Hey, we're starting a second show and we need someone in the chaos.' I go, 'I'm great in the chaos, man!' They needed someone that was going to be there at all the shows, someone who has the sort of aptitude that I have. And there's other people that have the aptitude that I have, that can do sort of what I do. I'm not particularly special, but also I have no life."
Jacobs and Danielson have history together as wrestlers in Ring of Honor, and part of Bryan's time in WWE coincided with Jacobs' stint there as a member of the creative team. (He was infamously released shortly after taking a selfie close to a Raw taping with then-members of the Bullet Club, including the Young Bucks. An episode of Being the Elite was being filmed close to the arena.)
