Adam Copeland is set to reunite with Christian Cage at Forbidden Door 2025 tonight for the first time in nearly 15 years, taking on the pairing of Kip Sabian and the recently returned Killswitch/Luchasaurus. This will be Copeland’s first time wrestling in London as part of the AEW roster after missing out on All In: London 2024 through injury. Taking to Instagram, Copeland noted that he is treating every show like it's his last, including this trip to the O2 Arena in London, England.
“The last time I wrestled in London was 2010 against Chris Jericho and Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) for the World Heavyweight Championship. I’ve had a long drought here. Tomorrow that all changes when I team up with Christian Cage for the first time since 2011 at AEW Forbidden Door 2025 vs Kip Sabian and Killswitch. I’ve seen some familiar faces and had some really nice interactions with the folks here this week. It’s good to see you all again. I have to treat every time I perform abroad as the last time I could wrestle in that city. So tomorrow I plan to soak it all in. Bring some loud lungs London. Let’s have some fun.”
Reports recently revealed why Copeland & Christian will team up at Forbidden Door for the first time, rather than All Out in Toronto.
