Some fans would assume that winning a world title in the main event of WrestleMania would be the best moment of a professional wrestler's career, but that is not the case for Bryan Danielson.
Though undoubtedly a special moment for him, The American Dragon actually sees beating Swerve Strickland in the AEW All In 2024 headliner as more important than his WrestleMania XXX triumph.
Asked to pick between his gold-getting stadium moments during an interview with Jamal Niaz, Danielson said:
"Oh, definitely All In at Wembley Stadium. The real reason behind that is because of the things surrounding the event itself. Like having my family there. Like my wife and kids being able to get in the ring with me, and knowing that my career was coming to an end, it just felt awesome, and it just felt something like I was grateful for even happening".
Danielson's full-time in-ring career ended at WrestleDream on October 12, where he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. In a recent update, the 43-year-old cast doubt on the prospect of a return to the ring, noting that his neck is 'wrecked' and that 'enough is enough'.
