Buddy Matthews Thinks Malakai Black Deserves An AEW World Title Shot
Could Malakai Black challenge for the AEW World Title?
Buddy Matthews sees plenty of singles gold in the House of Black's future.
Speaking to The Amin Show ahead of the Revolution pay-per-view, Matthews revealed he is interested in challenging for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship and he believes Malakai Black should be in contention for the AEW World Title.
"I'll take that [the AEW All-Atlantic Title] and I'll defend it in Australia. I'll take it to Australia and I'll defend it. I will go to Japan and I will defend it. Let me take that to the indie scene. I will defend it. I think Malakai deserves to go for that world title. The AEW World title on Malakai Black – he is an outstanding performer. I've been in the ring on his side and on the other side facing off with him. So, he is a world champion competitor," Matthews stated.
Matthews also sees singles gold in the future for Brody King and Buddy would like to see his fellow House of Black stablemate challenge for the TNT Championship.
The House of Black captured their first titles in All Elite Wrestling at Revolution on March 5, defeating The Elite to win the AEW World Trios Championships.
