Carlito Vs. Santos Escobar Set For WWE Survivor Series 2023
Carlito will take on Santos Escobar
The 2023 Survivor Series card has been given another match. The explosion within the Latino World Order will come to a head as Carlito takes on Santos Escobar in a first-time ever singles match.
It will mark Escobar’s first match since turning his back on Rey Mysterio and the LWO after dishing out a brutal attack on his mentor and friend. On Friday Night SmackDown last night, Escobar took to the mic and explained his actions. A lot of it stemmed from jealousy. Escobar felt like he deserved to be United States Champion and to be the one to rebuild the LWO, but it was Mysterio who took both those things from him, becoming champion and bringing in the likes of Carlito to the group.
After being slapped by Zelina Vega and after taking out other LWO members in Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, he was confronted by Carlito, who sent him packing. It was later revealed that the two would be facing off at Survivor Series, with the card now sitting at five matches.
