Carmella And Queen Zelina Win WWE Women's Tag Team Titles On WWE Raw

The titles change hands in Brooklyn

Carmella and Queen Zelina are the new WWE Women's Tag Team champions, after defeating Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH on Monday's episode of WWE Raw in Brooklyn.

The conclusion of the match came after Ripley was taken down outside the ring by Carmella, while Zelina managed to pin Nikki with Code Red.

For Carmella, this is her fourth different championship in the company. She previously held the SmackDown Women's title in 2018 after cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Charlotte Flair. She is also a two-time holder of the WWE 24/7 championship.

For Vega, this is her first championship belt in WWE. She becomes the third person to hold both the WWE and Impact Women's Tag Team titles, after the former IIconics won the Impact belts last month at Bound For Glory.

Ripley and Nikki's reign ends at 63 days. They won the titles on the September 20 episode of Raw by defeating Natalya and Tamina. It was Ripley's first reign as Women's Tag Team champion, while it was Nikki's third, having twice held the belts with Alexa Bliss.
