Carmelo Hayes Makes WWE Main Roster Debut On Raw

Carmelo Hayes was on WWE Raw on Monday night

Carmelo Hayes made his main roster debut on the June 26 edition of Monday Night Raw from Savannah, Georgia.

The NXT Champion was at ringside for Seth Rollins' promo on Raw. Finn Balor then tried to attack Rollins but the World Heavyweight Champion was ready for his Money in the Bank opponent after two attacks last week. This led to a brawl and as Balor went to grab a steel chair, Carmelo Hayes stopped Balor from using the weapon.

This set up a match for later in the evening and Balor ended up defeating the NXT Champion clean as a whistle following a Coup de Grace in a nine-minute match.

Carmelo Hayes and Seth Rollins have shown respect to each other over the past week as Hayes and Trick Williams made the save for the World Heavyweight Champion after he was attacked by Finn Balor on NXT.

Hayes is scheduled to be in action tonight when he defends the NXT Championship against Baron Corbin during night two of NXT Gold Rush. Hayes has been NXT Champion since he defeated Bron Breakker for the gold on April 1 at NXT Stand & Deliver.
