Cary Silkin Wants The Briscoes, Jonathan Gresham, Dalton Castle To Wrestle For Tony Khan's ROH

Cary Silkin wants to see some of the ‘current crop’ of ROH talents work under Tony Khan

With Tony Khan recently announcing his purchase of Ring of Honor, and subsequently revealing he will be head booker of the promotion, it has only created more questions about the future of ROH than it has answered.

Former ROH owner Cary Silkin is one of those intrigued by Khan’s plans for the historic indie promotion, and during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Silkin revealed who he’d like to see picked up by Khan’s ROH:

“It’s got a place to breathe now and live on. What I would hope Tony would do - and I haven’t spoken to him, nobody has really - you have more than 20 guys on the active roster, maybe it’s more than that [that have competed in ROH and went on to AEW]. Naturally, CM Punk and Bryan Danielson are ROH guys, but between the guys that are there, and I’d love to see him bring in The Briscoes and Jonathan Gresham and Dalton Castle, Matt Taven,” Silkin said, “some of these guys that were sort of synonymous with the last or current era of Ring Of Honor and add that to the mix and I think we could have a hell of a show.”

Before going on hiatus at the end of 2021, Ring of Honor released all of its active roster from their contracts, meaning Khan will be building the roster back from the ground up.
