Champion Returns On WWE Raw Following Brief Hiatus

Last night's WWE Raw saw the return of a champion after a brief hiatus. 

Fans were relieved to see Piper Niven back on their screens, with the Scottish Superstar announcing that she is once again cleared for in-ring action. Niven is one half of the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green, but was absent from last week's episode, with Adam Pearce announcing that she wasn't medically cleared. 

Reports indicated Niven was dealing with a short-term illness and she was not expected to be out of action for long.

Had Niven's absence been more long-term, this would presumably have left Green in need of finding yet another tag team partner - which would have been her fourth in recent months. Carmella is currently absent due to her pregnancy, while Sonya Deville was unfortunately ruled out due to injury, before Niven declared herself Chelsea's new partner.

Thankfully for the tag champions, they were reunited on last night's Raw. Green then lost to Shayna Baszler in singles competition, potentially leading to a future title match between Green, Niven, and the new alliance of Baszler and Zoey Stark.
