Charlotte Flair Admits She Was A Little Jealous At Ric Flair's Last Match

Charlotte Flair wanted some in-ring action at Ric Flair’s Last Match

Ric Flair’s Last Match was certainly a spectacle, part nostalgia, part car-crash viewing, as Ric Flair and son-in-law Andrade el Idolo defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in tag team action.

However, if Charlotte Flair had it her way she would have been involved in the proceedings, telling The TODAY Show:

"That was a long day. Honestly, I was a little jealous because I was like, ‘Oh, I want to be a part of this'. I’ve shared the ring with my dad, but not in that capacity. But then again my husband having the opportunity to be beside him, at the same time, I’m like, ‘Man, I wish my little brother [Reid] could see this.’ Then my husband is a third-generation wrestler. It was awesome. Picture-perfect. But I mean my dad could have maybe just managed my husband, but it worked out [laughs]," Flair said.

Ric Flair has managed Charlotte Flair at various points during ‘The Queen’s’ title-laden WWE career, with the Flairs recently appearing together during the WWE Raw is XXX thirtieth anniversary special on January 23.
