Charlotte Flair 'Ahead Of Schedule' In Return From Serious Knee Injury

Charlotte Flair seemingly coming back to WWE TV sooner than expected

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair recently appeared on CNBC Power Lunch and discussed her ongoing recovery from injury.

Flair explained:

"I'm six weeks out Thursday. I'm ahead of schedule and every day all I can think about is returning back to the ring, especially with all the excitement of The Rock, going to Netflix, WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, all I can think about is getting back and winning that [15th main roster world championship.]

"Netflix has 250 million subscribers, so it's only going to make WWE's content more popular, and WWE has always been revolutionary whether it's Raw, SmackDown, or pay-per-view schedule. And The Rock coming back, bringing more eyes to the product, I think sports entertainment is on a rise right now and it's just getting more and more popular every year. I think Netflix is going to be huge for everyone involved within the WWE, from talent to creative to everyone who works with the programming."

Charlotte has been sidelined since December 8, 2023, sustaining multiple knee injuries in a match with Damage CTRL member Asuka on SmackDown. She was expected to be out of action until October 2024.

Flair won't be leaving WWE any time soon as she signed a monster contract extension with the company in late 2023.
