Charlotte Flair Signs Huge WWE Contract Extension

Charlotte Flair signs new WWE contract

Charlotte Flair could recreate the 'Breaking Bad' scene of Huell Babineaux lying on a pile of money while she is at home due to injury.

Fightful Select has reported that Charlotte recently agreed to a contract extension with WWE that will keep her with the company for several more years. The new deal is said to be a huge money increase over her previous contract and is one of the highest-paid deals in WWE history for one of their female talents.

As part of the deal, Charlotte will have a travel bus, something that has become increasingly common amongst pro wrestlers in recent years. Flair is believed to have put pen to paper before Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio, who have signed their own WWE contract extensions.

Charlotte Flair won't be wrestling for WWE for some time after sustaining a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus on the December 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown during her match with Asuka. Flair suffered the injury after getting caught in the ropes and then falling into the ring during a commercial break. Flair continued to wrestle when the broadcast returned but the two competitors soon went to the finish, with Asuka picking up the win following interference from Bayley.

WWE have announced that Flair will be out of action for nine months, putting her on the shelf for much of 2024.
