Charlotte Flair’s latest WWE push has begun.

Flair made her return in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match after over a year out of action with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Flair entered the match at number 27, one of the luckiest numbers in Royal Rumble history for determining winners.

Flair received pyro for her entrance in what proved to be a sign of how the remainder of the match would play out as Charlotte ended up being the last woman standing. The match came down to Nia Jax, Flair, and Roxanne Perez and Charlotte managed to get rid of Jax while Nia tried to eliminate Perez. Roxanne Perez remained on the apron and Flair won the match following a big boot to her fellow former NXT Women's Champion.

Flair introduced a new gimmick as part of her return that sees her presented as the ‘Top Girl’, playing into her legacy as part of the Flair family. Flair could also soon become a 14/16-time women’s champion as reports have noted WWE are 'heavily considering' having her win championship gold sooner rather than later. A match discussed for WrestleMania 41 has been Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair.
