In a surprise moment, IShowSpeed made his WWE in-ring debut in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Akira Tozawa was originally set to be the eighth entrant in the match but he was attacked from behind by Carmelo Hayes, who had already been eliminated. It was decided Tozawa couldn't enter the match and as Triple H frantically looked for a replacement, the WWE Chief Content Officer ordered a shocked IShowSpeed to the ring.

Speed quickly enjoyed some offence, even eliminating Otis with Bron Breakker. Speed then did a flip and a Siuu, with the crowd chanting along, before he ate a huge Spear from Bron Breakker. Breaker then threw Speed to the outside but he was caught by Otis, who threw Speed across the announce table, eliminating him from the Rumble.

IShowSpeed has become more involved with WWE over the past year. He previously appeared at WrestleMania 40 as a giant bottle of PRIME and received an RKO from Randy Orton for his trouble. It was announced last week that Speed had been granted permission to stream at the Royal Rumble.
