After Stephanie McMahon opened the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the Women's Royal Rumble Match opened the show.
1. IYO SKY
2. Liv Morgan
3. Roxanne Perez
4. Lyra Valkyria
A wardrobe malfunction occurred after Valkyria ran wild and her attire became untied. Fortunately, Liv Morgan pushed Valkyria to the mat which allowed her to retie herself.
5. Chelsea Green
6. B-Fab
7. Ivy Nile
8. Zoey Stark
9. Lash Legend
The first elimination occurred as Lash Legend and B-Fab took each other out with big boots. Chelsea Green capitalised on the situation by picking up B-Fab and throwing her over the top rope.
10. Bianca Belair
11. Shayna Baszler
A future Women's Intercontinental Title match was set up in the second elimination as Lyra Valkyria was caught out of nowhere and thrown over the top rope by Ivy Nile.
12. Bayley
13. Sonya Deville
This brought the Pure Fusion Collective to full strength in the Royal Rumble and they proceeded to dominate the entire field while not eliminating a single person. Chelsea Green did spill to the outside under the bottom rope following a move from Deville.
14. Maxxine Dupri
Dupri scored an elimination, hitting the Reverse Caterpillar on Ivy Nile before sending her to the floor with a spin kick. While Dupri celebrated, though, Pure Fusion Collective snuck up from behind and dumped her over the top rope.
15. Naomi
Following a whole pile of finishing moves from Bianca Belair & Naomi, Bayley, and IYO SKY, the entirety of the Pure Fusion Collective were thrown over the top rope.
16. Jaida Parker
Jaida Parker and Lash Legend teamed up to attack Chelsea Green but Lash accidentally caught Parker. Green took advantage and threw Legend over the top rope and to the floor.
17. Piper Niven
Piper Niven initially ran wild but disaster struck when Bianca Belair put Chelsea Green over the top rope and Niven ran into her president.
18. Natalya
19. Jordynne Grace
Former TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made her full WWE debut at number 19, with Michael Cole confirming on commentary that Grace was now a part of WWE. It didn't take Grace long to score an elimination as she got rid of Jaida Parker. Grace then hoisted up Piper Niven and hit a Death Valley Driver to cause the crowd to erupt. Naomi then hugged Jordynne Grace and Bianca Belair was really annoyed about it, trying and failing to eliminate Grace.
20. Michin
21. Alexa Bliss
Big return in the next entrant as Alexa Bliss made her first appearance on WWE TV in two years, appearing in a 'Fiend 4 Ever' leather jacket and had a new Lily doll.
22. Zelina Vega
23. Candice LeRae
24. Stephanie Vaquer
25. Trish Stratus
In her first match since Payback 2023, Trish Stratus made a callback to her WWE debut with a pink cowboy hat.
26. Raquel Rodriguez
Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan quickly worked well together, getting rid of Natalya with a Codebreaker after Raquel dumped her over the rope. They then eliminated Alexa Bliss in the same fashion.
27. Charlotte Flair
Pyro for Charlotte Flair's return and she took an absolute age walking to the ring. Flair also scored an elimination as Michin was on the apron for some reason and ate a kick from Flair to send her to the floor. Flair then picked up Piper Niven and threw her to the floor.
28. Giulia
Giulia scored an elimination, getting rid of Jordynne Grace with a knee while the former TNA Knockouts World Champion was on the apron.
29. Nia Jax
Jax quickly scored an elimination, getting rid of Zelina Vega. Jax then got into it with Trish Stratus, who dumped out Candice LeRae. Jax managed to get Stratus over the top rope and help from Candice LeRae on the floor allowed Jax to eliminate Trish.
30. Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella wrestled her first WWE match in three years, entering at #30. This led to the spot where everyone worked together to eliminate Nia Jax but they all failed.
A whole host of entrants ended up on the apron and Nia Jax got rid of Bianca Belair, Stephanie Vaquer, Naomi, and IYO SKY, while Raquel Rodriguez just fell out of the ring. Jax then dumped out Liv Morgan.
This brought us down to six of Giulia, Nikki Bella, Roxanne Perez, Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Bayley. Roxanne Perez then eliminated Giulia by pushing her into the ring post while they were on the apron. Nia Jax then got rid of two more talents in Bayley and Nikki Bella.
Nia Jax tried to get rid of Roxanne Perez but Charlotte came up behind Jax and managed to get her over the top rope. Perez was still stuck on the apron and she tried to fight back into the ring but only ate a Big Boot from Flair to send her falling to the floor.
Charlotte Flair is the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble winner.
#DIY (c) def. Motor City Machine Guns - Two-out-of-Three Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships
The Motor City Machine Guns dominated the early action but a distraction from Johnny Gargano allowed Tommaso Ciampa to plant Chris Sabin with a Draping DDT from the middle rope. #DIY then worked over Sabin.
Chris Sabin managed to make the hot tag to Alex Shelley but #DIY fooled the former TNA World Champion as Ciampa feigned tagging in Johnny Gargano. This meant Shelley targeted Gargano and he walked straight into a Jumping Knee from Ciampa as #DIY went 1-0 by pinning Shelley.
#DIY remained on top following the first fall and they worked over Alex Shelley, including after Shelley made the tag as the referee didn't see and blocked Chris Sabin from entering the ring. DIY then almost won the match after hitting a Shatter Machine but Shelley managed to kick out.
Shelley then made the hot tag to Chris Sabin and he ran wild, hitting a huge Bouncing Crossbody to the floor to take out both Gargano and Ciampa. With the champions rocked, MCMG hit Skull and Bones to tie up the match at one fall apiece.
The match became more even for the final fall and Ciampa thought he had the match won following a Fairytale Ending and Project Ciampa to Chris Sabin but the 10-time X-Division Champion managed to kick out. Sabin fired back soon after by pushing Ciampa, sending Ciampa's head bouncing off the top of the ring post. Ciampa then got stuck in a Tree of Woe and ate a Johnny Gargano to the face following a Belly to Belly from Shelley before a Dropkick from Sabin.
MCMG followed up with a Blockbuster and that looked to be it but Gargano pushed Shelley into Sabin to break up the pin at two. Gargano then Superkicked Ciampa by mistake and MCMG fired back with the Facial. They had the match won until the Machine Guns were suddenly attacked with a crutch by Angelo Dawkins while Montez Ford distracted the referee.
#DIY then hit Meet in the Middle to Alex Shelley for the win. They didn't get to celebrate, though, as Street Profits beat them down with a crutch post-match.
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens - Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
It took a whole one minute for the action to spill to the outside and Kevin Owens Suplexed Cody Rhodes across the metal support beam of the ladder. KO then used it as a weapon on Cody, choking the Undisputed WWE Champion with it. KO tried to get a weapon which provided Rhodes with time to recover and he sent KO into the crowd, throwing a beer across Owens' face.
After a brawl through the crowd, KO was the first man to try and climb a ladder but Cody stopped him on multiple occasions. A little ladder was then introduced to the action and both men took turns battering each other with the very small ladder, including a slam from KO to Cody on top of the little ladder.
Rhodes managed to reach the titles but Owens pulled away the ladder and left Cody dangling from the belts. He was unable to pull them down and KO hit a Pop-up Powerbomb on Cody as he tumbled. Cody later fought back with the bottom support of a ladder, attacking KO with it until Owens fired back with a Superkick.
Owens then channelled his inner Dusty Rhodes, hitting punch after punch before he did the Dusty jiggle and hit Cody over and over again with the rung of the ladder.
In the next big spot, Rhodes hit a back body drop on Owens that saw Owens' spine land on the side of the ladder. Owens managed to fire back while Rhodes climbed the ladder by scooping the Undisputed WWE Champion up and Powerbombing him on a ladder.
