Jey Uso Wins 2025 WWE Men's Royal Rumble In Shock Result
Jey Uso wins the WWE Royal Rumble!
Feb 2, 2025
In arguably the biggest Royal Rumble upset ever, Jey Uso won the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match inside Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, February 1.
Jey Uso was not mentioned as even having a hope of winning the Rumble, especially when the field included the likes of John Cena, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn but it was Jey who ended the Royal Rumble as the last man standing.
Jey entered the match at number 20 and the final two came down to John Cena and Uso, with both men going back and forth for several minutes.
Uso and Cena ended up on the apron together, with Cena hoisting up Jey for an Attitude Adjustment. Uso managed to escape back into the ring, though, and he suddenly pushed Cena to the floor to win the match and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41.
Post-match, Cena hugged Jey Uso before Jey did the customary point at the WrestleMania sign and led 60,000 fans in YEETING.
While not official, the expectation is Jey Uso will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. Uso has faced Gunther three times over the past 12 months, losing all three matches, including as recently as last weekend's Saturday Night's Main Event.
While he may not have won at Royal Rumble, reports in December noted that Cena was still planned for a title match at WrestleMania 41 on his quest to become a 17-time world champion. It is expected that Cena will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
