Chelsea Green Breaks Wrist In SmackDown Debut

The booking of the match had to be changed...

Chelsea Green's debut as part of the SmackDown brand didn't quite go as intended.

Green took part in a four-way match to fill a spot on the SmackDown women's Survivor Series team, wrestling Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Tamina. Unfortunately, during the course of the match, Green broke her wrist, taking her out of the contest entirely.

The injury apparently played havoc with the match's plan. According to a report from Fightful Select, "Green was originally slated to win the match, but a change had to be called on the fly that saw Liv Morgan get the pin. We're told the situation was 'hectic.'"

Green later wrote on Instagram, "Just another twist in my @wwe story tonight! If you wondered where I went after my entrance, here's your answer... another broken arm. Nothing I haven't dealt with before! I'll be back before you know it!"

The match was Green's first in close to six months. She was last seen on an episode of NXT in May, teaming with Charlotte Flair to defeat Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley.
