Chelsea Green Misses AAA Show Due To Injury

AAA held a show last night in which reigning AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Ethan Page and Chelsea Green were scheduled to defend their titles against the duo of Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana. Unfortunately, Green had to be pulled from the show and was replaced due to an injury. 

As announced by Chelsea Green herself on social media, one half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champs picked up an injury during her recent match on Friday Night SmackDown, where she came up short in a losing effort to Tiffany Stratton in a triple threat that also involved Lash Legend, which had a spot in the Elimination Chamber on the line. In her social media post, Green showcased some nasty bruising on her foot around the heel and ankle area, saying the following;

“The AUDACITY of @luchalibreaaa to throw @OfficialEGO into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall. Ethan, we need to talk!!!”

We’ll hazard a guess that Green didn’t actually nearly end her career on SmackDown, though the severity of her injury is not yet known. La Hiedra stepped up to team with Ethan Page instead, though it was Vice & Iguana who stood tall as the new champion at the show. Green was recently in headlines after hitting back at comments made by Michael Hayes on WWE: Unreal.
