Chris Jericho Comments On AEW Returning To Live Tapings

Dynamite will be live from May 6...

Back on April 9, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis added "professional sports and media production" to the list of essential services in The Sunshine State. This has allowed WWE to continue tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando but has also given All Elite Wrestling the opportunity to return to Daily's Place in Jacksonville.

The young promotion previously taped several weeks of programming in late March and early April at QT Marshall's gym in Norcross, Georgia, but from May 6 they will air a combination of live and taped programming in the run-up to Double Or Nothing On May 23.

During a recent interview with Rocco Marrongelli at Newsweek, Chris Jericho commented on Dynamite being broadcast live.

Le Champion said: "I think everybody kind of wants to get back to work. Previously, the team had already filmed about four weeks' worth of shows, but they were all waiting to see where this situation would take them. We're trying to start slowly and integrate back into life and I think it's perfect. Obviously, we'll take precautions and all that sort of stuff but it's time to get back on track and I'm looking forward to it."
