Chris Jericho Forms New Faction On AEW Dynamite
The Inner Circle is no more, as Jericho forms a new stable on AEW Dynamite
This week’s episode of AEW: Dynamite saw the official dissolution of The Inner Circle, as Chris Jericho turned on Santana and Ortiz.
Jericho was in the ring to address his loss to Eddie Kingston at Revolution and his refusal to shake ‘The Mad King’s hand, before Jericho and Kingston were bumrushed by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia. A baseball bat wielding Santana and Ortiz ran out to make the save, handing Jericho the bat, but ‘Le Champion’ showed his true colours, as he, 2point0, and Garcia beat down The Proud & Powerful.
Jake Hager came to the ring unsure of what to do, before aligning with Jericho once more and joining in the carnage, before delivering a nasty powerbomb to Eddie Kingston off the apron through a table.
Jericho and Hager removed their Inner Circle pledge vests and draped them over Santana and Ortiz, before announcing on the mic that this new group of Jericho, Hager, Garcia, Matt Lee, and Jeff Parker will be known as the Jericho Appreciation Society.
