Chris Jericho Says He Won't Be Returning To WWE

The Demo God is enjoying his time in AEW...

Back in January 2019, Chris Jericho announced he had signed with All Elite Wrestling. Le Champion quickly cemented himself as one of the top stars in the young promotion and captured the AEW World Championship at All Out 2019. Since then, he has had memorable feuds with the likes of Cody, The Elite, and Jon Moxley and he is currently locked in a rivalry with the popular Orange Cassidy.

Despite this, some fans have clamoured for The Demo God to return to WWE. After a fan again called for The Painmaker to return to the wrestling behemoth during Chris Jericho's Saturday Night Special, the former AEW World Champion said he wouldn't be returning to WWE and reiterated that he is enjoying his time in AEW.

"It's not gonna happen," Jericho said. "I'm really enjoying being in AEW and I loved my time with WWE. I love Vince Mcmahon. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun, but listen, you can't stay in the same place forever. You become stagnant if you do and I think you need to push yourself to do something new. And the fact that AEW was live without a net when I first showed up and all of us have done such a great job of promoting this brand and promoting this company. Like I said, the Demo God thing is real. Of course, it's not me, even though I've never been beaten in the demo. This week, The Young Bucks did over a million viewers."
