Chris Jericho Suffers Broken Nose On AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho suffers a gruesome injury

Chris Jericho did not leave his Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match with Eddie Kingston on the special Fyter Fest Week Two edition of AEW Dynamite unscathed.

Jericho revealed on Twitter that he suffered a broken nose, writing: "Just left the doctors office. It's official….that SAVAGE @MadKing1981  broke my nose last night. #barbwireeverywhere @AEW."

Jericho suffered the injury during a Codebreaker spot while Eddie Kingston was holding a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. One of the chair legs went straight into Jericho's face, though, and The Painmaker could be seen holding his nose after an unsuccessful pin attempt on Kingston.

If the former AEW World Champion will miss any time is currently unknown.

Even though he suffered a broken nose, Jericho did go on to win the Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match following assistance from Sammy Guevara after The Spanish God threw Kingston into a Judas Effect.

Kingston and Jericho have been feuding for much of 2022. The Mad King won their first contest at Revolution and they exchanged wins in multi-man matches before Jericho's victory at Fyter Fest.
