Chris Jericho: We Have Made AEW A Viable Contender
AEW is a viable contender, Chris Jericho believes

Speaking with the Associated Press, Chris Jericho noted All Elite Wrestling has become a viable contender and the promotion has gone further than he expected when it was founded by Tony Khan and The Elite back in January 2019.
"We've now made AEW, a viable contender. And it's a safe place for people to come now. When we first started, it was a little bit of the wild, wild west, no one knew what to expect. And it was like taking a little bit of a chance. I think it's gone even further than I expected. I think now that we're here, we're just scratching the surface of how far we're gonna go," the former AEW World Champion said.
AEW has found itself competing with WWE since the promotion's creation, whether that be for talent or in the ratings. How much AEW can compete with WWE in the coming years, though, will ultimately depend on Tony Khan's promotion's next TV deal. Their current deal with Warner Bros. Discovery runs through 2023.
