Christian Cage Challenges "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry To AEW Revolution Match

Christian Cage vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry almost set for AEW Revolution

A long-running rivalry looks set to conclude at All Elite Wrestling's upcoming Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 5.

Appearing on the March 1 episode of Dynamite, Christian Cage made his way to the ring and challenged "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry to a fight at Revolution, calling his former protege a "no-talent hack" like Luke Perry if he doesn't accept. Cage also stated that Jungle Boy would win a singles title in 2023 over his dead body.

Following the promo, Jack Perry channelled his inner Undertaker and appeared on the titantron digging a grave before a headstone with Christian's name on it was revealed. The match has yet to be made official by All Elite Wrestling but it appears to simply be a formality.

Cage and Jungle Boy were previously friends in AEW until Christian turned on Jack Perry back in June 2022 after Jurassic Express lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Christian then revealed that he only became friends with Jungle Boy because he humiliated him at Double or Nothing 2021 by eliminating the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion from the Casino Battle Royale.

Cage and Jungle Boy feuded throughout the summer before Christian defeated Perry at All Out with the assistance of Luchasaurus. The match was kept short as Christian had suffered a torn triceps and the programme moved to Luchasaurus vs. Jungle Boy until Perry won a Steel Cage Match at Full Gear in November.

Christian was then off AEW TV until returning a couple of weeks ago.
