Eddie Kingston "Quits" AEW

Eddie Kingston has quit AEW

Eddie Kingston has had enough of All Elite Wrestling.

The Mad King was scheduled to be in action on the March 1 edition of Dynamite as part of the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. Kingston never made it into the ring, though, as he and former friend Ortiz brawled and had to be separated by 10 referees.

Kingston was interviewed by Lexi Nair following Dynamite but the popular star wasn't in the mood for talking, simply saying "I quit AEW" before promptly leaving the arena in San Francisco. Kingston had become increasingly irritated with the promotion in recent weeks and his unhappiness only intensified after he was booked in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. He even predicted that he wouldn't be at next week's episode of Dynamite in Sacramento.

Kingston quitting AEW appears to have been done to send the 41-year-old to Ring of Honor. He was involved at the promotion's tapings on February 25 and February 26 and he is set to be featured prominently, with an ROH World Title match against Claudio Castagnoli likely to take place at Supercard of Honor at the end of March.
