Christian Cage Has No Plans For IMPACT Wrestling Return

AEW and IMPACT Wrestling have a strong working relationship

Christian Cage says he does not see himself competing in IMPACT Wrestling despite the agreement between the promotion and All Elite Wrestling.

AEW and IMPACT have developed a strong partnership in recent months, with the opening of the 'Forbidden Door', and the company's two major champions will compete in a Title Vs. Title Match at IMPACT Rebellion this weekend.

A former World Champion in TNA/IMPACT, Christian has a storied history with the promotion, but does not see himself wrestling on Thursday nights for the company as he is focusing on his agreement with AEW.

Speaking to Bleacher Report, he said: "I don't have any plans on [returning to IMPACT] right now. I am solely focused on AEW, but who knows what can happen in the future. I am relatively new here. I don't think my focus should get too far away from AEW at this point.

"I am committed to being part of this brand and helping it move forward."

Cage debuted on AEW at AEW Revolution last month, signing his contract in the ring at the event.
