Christian Comments On His WWE Future

Following his return at the Royal Rumble

To the surprise of everyone, Christian returned to the squared circle during last night's Men's Royal Rumble. Captain Charisma lasted 18 minutes in the match and reunited with his best friend Edge before he was dumped over the top rope by Seth Rollins.

Following the Rumble, Christian was interviewed by WWE Network and he admitted it felt good to be back in the ring. He also revealed that he had been "playing coy" backstage all day to try and hide his return from the other Superstars.

The two-time World Heavyweight Champion was then asked about his WWE future, to which he replied: "What's next for me? All I ever promised was one more match. That could be it."

Outside of a one-minute bout against Randy Orton in June 2020, the Men's Royal Rumble was Christian's first professional wrestling match since March 24, 2014. The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was forced to retire following that match and his return was a shock as he previously said he was content with what he accomplished during his career.
