Christopher Daniels Returning To The Ring In October

Daniels hasn’t wrestled since SCU’s split in May

AEW’s Christopher Daniels is set to return to the ring in October, for DEFY Wrestling in Los Angeles.

Daniels hasn’t wrestled since May 12 2021, after he and SCU partner Frankie Kazarian lost to The Young Bucks on an episode of AEW: Dynamite, with the stipulation being that Daniels and Kazarian had to split as a team if they lost.

DEFY announced Daniels participation on their Twitter account, saying:

“DEFY debuts in Los Angeles with HELL BENT on 10/14 at @LodgeRoom in Highland Park! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS returns to the ring and battles DANIEL GARCIA, plus EDDIE KINGSTON, VIVA VAN, and more! 21+ | Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10am PST at http://DEFYwrestling.com"

As seen above, AEW’s Eddie Kingston will be in action at the event, as will Daniel Garcia - Daniels’ opponent for the night.

Garcia remains active on the independent scene whilst having a prominent role on AEW television, recently feuding with the likes of Jon Moxley and Darby Allin across Dynamite and Rampage.
