The boyhood dream is over and pro wrestling is now less hot, less spicy, and doesn't taste as great.

Only days after Christopher Daniels' retirement from pro wrestling, it was revealed that Curry Man had made his in-ring return on February 1 as part of the Chris Jericho Cruise. Curry Man went one-on-one with The Masked Brother and ultimately defeated him.

It has since been revealed in footage from the cruise that Curry Man retired after the match, bringing his in-ring career to an end.

"So I take long time away from wrestling but Chris Jericho, he invite me to Jericho Cruise. So I think this where I want to wrestle in front of great wrestling fans. I'm so happy to be wrestling in front of you. I thank you and my heart is full because tonight, tonight is my last match. Believe me, under this shirt I am very fat, so it’s good I retire tonight. But it's good I get to retire in front of wrestling fans like you. Arigato, thank you very much," Curry Man said.

With his retirement, Curry Man ends a 26-year career which began back in 1999. He ends his career as a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with American Dragon, having held the gold in 2004.

Curry Man was most famous for his run in TNA in the 2010s, although his time in the promotion came to an end in 2014 after losing a Feast or Fired Match. Curry Man continued to follow Christopher Daniels, though, popping up in Ring of Honor and on the indies, primarily for DEFY, until his retirement over the weekend.

Everyone at Cultaholic wishes Curry Man all the best in his retirement from professional wrestling.
