City In Kentucky Temporarily Named After WWE Superstar King Corbin

All hail King Corbin!

In recent months, King Corbin has been presented as one of the top stars on Friday Night SmackDown. In his rivalry with Roman Reigns, The King Of The Ring and his lackeys Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode have consistently gotten the better of The Big Dog, even tying him to a ring post and covering him in dog food. Corbin also holds a pay-per-view victory over Reigns, defeating him at TLC.

King Corbin's power and influence seemingly knows no bounds, as a campaign from WWE led to the city of Corbin, Kentucky temporarily changing their name to King Corbin. To promote their house show at the Corbin Arena on January 12th, WWE representatives began a petition campaign in front of the town's statue of Colonel Sanders to encourage residents to support the name change. Many fans received free tickets for their trouble.

The campaign evidently worked as Mayor Suzie Razmus officially proclaimed that the city would be known as King Corbin for the day WWE was in town.

The Lone Wolf reacted to the news on Instagram, writing: "The royal power of @baroncorbinwwe knows no bounds!"
