Claudio Castagnoli has spoken about the future of the Blackpool Combat Club, in a recent interview with Dallas Morning News.

The stable - until recently consisting of Castagnoli, William Regal, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta - seems to be in jeopardy following Regal's reported departure from AEW. The stable was founded by Regal, who brought together the feuding Moxley and Danielson, before later recruiting Wheeler and Claudio.

Regarding the future of the group, Castagnoli explained:

"We have to wait and see. You know, we’re still talking. I think we have to have a little group meeting to figure out what’s next, or if there’s a next. So yeah, I’ll leave it at that."

The stable's future could also depend on the result of Claudio's match at ROH Final Battle this weekend. He is set to take on ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, but will be forced to join the Jericho Appreciation Society if he loses.

Stablemate Yuta is also set to compete at the show, taking on ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia. Both Jericho and Garcia are the men who won their respective titles from the corresponding Blackpool Combat Club members.

H/T to Fightful.
