CM Punk Addresses Missing WWE Elimination Chamber

CM Punk wasn't happy about missing Elimination Chamber

CM Punk was originally scheduled for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 event in Perth, Australia, however he was pulled from the show after suffering from a torn triceps during the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match.

Although Punk has still been making some appearances for WWE since his injury, such as at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event in Las Vegas and post-show on an episode of Monday Night RAW recently, Punk did not make the flight over to the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Whilst the WWE roster were away at the Elimination Chamber, with two Chamber matches, an Undisputed Tag Team Championship match, and a main event between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax, Punk was still at home, and this was something he wasn’t too happy with. In a post on his Instagram stories, Punk commented that missing the show had made him feel down.

“Had a rough day mentally today. My heart and spirit are in Perth. Just a hard day staying positive and nobody wishes I was there performing for the fans more than me. Enjoy the show, appreciate you all.”

CM Punk was set to enter the Elimination Chamber on his path to facing Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. Drew McIntyre is taking this role instead.
