CM Punk for years talked about the goal of main eventing WWE WrestleMania and he will finally do so on April 19 when he headlines night one of WrestleMania 41 in his Triple Threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Punk reacted to the accolade while speaking to WWE Deutschland and the 46-year-old noted he was excited about the match.

"I'm excited. WrestleMania is two nights now. It's more opportunity for people to experience the rare air of a main event of WrestleMania. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are two guys that I helped get here to the main roster many, many moons ago. It's exciting for me to see how long they've held it down and how far they've come from where they started. It's going to be special to show them that kind of like, daddy's back. CM Punk is back. You're still here and I'm still here [shows hands and different levels]," Punk said.

WrestleMania 41 will be CM Punk's first WrestleMania match since he and The Undertaker had the match of the night at 2013's WrestleMania 39. Punk was unable to wrestle at WrestleMania 40 due to injury but he was still involved at the show, costing Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship.
