CM Punk Planning To Get A Lot Of Things Off His Chest Upon AEW Return

CM Punk has scores to settle upon his return

CM Punk made his first appearance on AEW programming since September on last night's episode of Dynamite.

In video form, at least.

A one-minute vignette aired hyping the former AEW World Champion's return for the debut edition of Collision this Saturday. Punk will team with FTR to take on Samoa Joe and Bullet Club Gold on the show, though last night's promo intimated he will also speak in front of his hometown Chicago crowd.

The vignette showed Punk working out in Chicago and offered a few key soundbites, such as the Second City Saint saying that "the only thing that is certain about CM Punk right now is that nothing is certain" and that he "has a lot of things to get off my chest".

The 44-year-old noted that he had scores to settle and didn't know what he would do or say until there was a microphone in his hand.

Punk has been absent since last year's All Out, due to a combination of a triceps injury (which required surgery) and the fallout from his part in the backstage brawl with The Elite.
